Hi everyone today I like to share with you of the most comfortable, trendy as well as traditional dress in India, any guesses! Yeah it is my favourite salwar kameez. Do you know that salwar kameez is the traditional dress in the northern part of India. But today it has taken many avatars and among youth it has taken the avatar of Indo Western outfit. Salwars come in different types of materials from sophisticated silks to comfortable, elegant cottons, and it comes with different works such as aari work, zardoshi, kundan, bead, appliqué, kalamkari and embroidery work. Kalamkari is very popular kind of painting and this painting is done with natural dyes extracted from flowers and trees. This kind of painting is done in salwar materials and it is very popular in India as well as foreign countries.
The salwar materials starts from the cost of about Rs 500 for casual wear and the maximum goes above Rs 50,000 and more and sky is the limit if your funds allow. I prefer buying cotton materials and get it stitched, as our country has a humid, hot weather. There are two patterns in this outfit, one is called salwar and the other churidhar. The disparity is, in salwar the bottom is loose and in churidhar the bottom of the outfit is tight , more or less like skin tight pants.
I have attached some images of my salwar materials and also some from other shops, look at the beauty and elegance and enjoy. I also have given a list of online shops to buy salwars online if you wish and I have given the name of shops in my favourite link list. That is all for now and will meet you with some other interesting topic soon and also with a long list of shops to buy online, bye, bye
